For those who know Casey you also know how attached he is to Mom. He usually doesn't eat much while she is away but I am staying at the house with him and trying to love him and talk to him like she does and i think he knows that i am family because he happily ate his dinner last night and then curled up in bed with me and the kitty kats when i went to bed.
He does keep looking for her to appear in the doorway.

Linda and John I have been out of state several days and just heard at church today of your terrible accident. I can just see you trying to help the environment, scooting here and there to save gasoline! You are such a free and wonderful spirit, both of you, that it is hard to imagine you immobilized in a hospital bed. You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers, friends, as you recover, Linda, and as you John are in vigil to be as close together as possible. You are a remarkable couple, exemplars for all the rest of us, for your faith, your commitment to each other and to family and your faithfulness to community and to the hostel vision. Hello Linda and John,
I have had the church directory opened to your picture since wednesday night when the choir heard about what happened. I placed a cross pendant on Linda's part of the picture.
I don't know if Casey is a dog or cat but I am very good with animals and could try to help with him if you guys need me to! I have two momma's boys too!

Thank you for your kind offer. We'll keep that it mind if we need extra help. Casey is the dalmation dog that is so bonded with Linda that we call her "his human" and he's the mascot for the Firehouse Hostel & Museum project.
