Last night Mom was moved from ICU and into a regular room on the same floor. Unit 4C
No news at this time about her condition other than she continues on pain medication with silliness as a side effect.
She was given a hamburger yesterday. Not sure if this was a mistake but John tried to give her small mushed up bites. Her throat is still not ready for that much food yet.

Great news to hear she's out of ICU! WHY should a hamburger even be on the menu in a hospital?!!! They probably just serve the same item to everyone regardless of individual circumstances.
Mom, I'll be there in just 3 or 4 days, then I'll cook you something digestible! Hang in there. You're going strong!

The EHS Class of '58 has been pulling for you Linda. We are so happy to hear the good news that you are out of ICU. Thanks to your wonderful family for keeping us informed with the "blog". We all read it every day.
I stopped by the hospital about a week ago and met John and was so encouraged by your progress.
