The neurosurgeons are going to wait until Friday for her surgery to give her more time to reduce fluids. She is doing better today since they fed her last night(the first time ever). At 3pm they had not fed her today but we are hoping they will. They had to find out from the vascular surgeons if and when they were going to install the vein filter.
Her pain meds have been reduced and she woke up quite a bit today. I wanted so much to talk with her but she was in pain and moving her neck around too much. We tried not to stimulate her so she wouldn't move too much.
I'm helping, at the hostel office, do some of Mom's work raising money.

June and I are keeping Linda and her family in our prayers. Let us know if you need anything.

Nana,
We are so sorry that you are in such discomfort and we're grateful that you will be able to read these loving messages and updates on your condition once you are no longer on sedatives. It sounds like waking up to the same nightmare every day. I just can't imagine your confusion. You must be feeling a bit like Raggedy Ann after she fell into the paint bucket, had a wash, then went through the wringer! I want so much to hold you and comfort you but even those beside you can't do that yet. I'm just so, so sorry about what you are going through. We will keep praying for your recovery and improved comfort.

Dearest Linda!
I pray every day for you do return to norm ASAP! I know, that you are VERY strong person and I KNOW, that you'll overcome all this difficult period and will wonder if it really happened to you.
Be very well, dear, God takes care about you and all your dears are on the top, because everybody lives you.
Kisses
Bella
Dearest Linda and family. We are praying for you throughout the days and we hope you will soon be better. Tom and I will be back in Little Rock next week for 2 weeks.
Maybe we can see you, or at least John and family just to show our love. Everyone at the reunion are praying for you. Linda, you are such a strong person and, with God's help you will be okay. We love you and your family so much. Hang in there and know that we, too are with you in thought and prayer. How blessed you are with such a wonderful family and how blessed they are to have you.
Thanks diane and all for keeping us informed on this blog.
